Privacy in Form Studio

Form Studio is made by Jim Does It. This page explains the app’s document handling and this website’s separate, optional analytics. The Jim Does It privacy policy also applies to our support services.
Inside the app
Form Studio processes scans, photographs, imported PDFs, text and signatures on your device. It does not require an account, upload documents to our servers or include advertising or third-party analytics.
The app stores your projects and reusable signatures locally so you can reopen and edit them. Your device’s operating-system backup settings may include app data in a device or iCloud backup. Apple controls those backups according to your settings.
Camera, Photos and Files
Camera access is used when you choose to scan a document. Photo and file imports use the items you select through the system pickers. Form Studio does not need access to your contacts, location or microphone.
Imported material is copied into the app’s workspace. Editing or deleting a form in Form Studio does not delete the original item from Photos or an external Files location.
Sharing is your choice
You choose when to export a PDF, print or share through another app. A recipient, email provider or cloud storage service then handles that exported copy under its own policies. Form Studio does not control copies you have already shared.
Deleting local data
You can restore a form from Trash before permanently deleting it. Permanent deletion removes that form’s local project and source files that are no longer used by another saved form. Reusable signatures can be deleted separately. Exported copies outside Form Studio and operating-system backups must be managed in their respective locations.
Support messages
Contacting support is optional. If you send an email or complete the app’s support draft, we receive the information you choose to send so we can respond. Please do not include sensitive form contents or signatures unless they are necessary for a support request you choose to make.
This website’s optional analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4 only after you select Allow analytics. Declining keeps the analytics script unloaded. Your preference is saved in this browser’s local storage, and you can change it at any time using Website analytics choices in the footer.
When allowed, analytics measures page visits, general device and browser information, and approximate regional information. Google receives normal network information needed to process the request and may use analytics cookies to distinguish visits. We disable advertising features and do not send names, email addresses, form contents, uploaded files, URL queries or fragments to analytics.
Website analytics cannot access the forms or signatures stored in the Form Studio app. Our web server also receives ordinary request information needed to serve and secure the site.
